Ingredients:
1 package Oreos (36 cookies)
1 brick cream cheese (8oz) (softened)
1 package almond bark (milk or white chocolate)
Directions:
In a food processor, crush Oreos into crumbs. (If you don't have a food processor, you can always just put cookies in a gallon bag and crush them with a rolling pin, or whatever's handy.)
In a bowl, mix together VERY softened cream cheese with the crushed Oreos until it becomes a dough-like cosistency. This may take a few minutes.
Now, roll the "dough" into bite-sized balls, set all of them on a parchment paper lined baking sheet, set in fridge to chill.
Melt almond bark according to instructions.
Take truffles out of the fridge. Using a toothpick, fork, or better yet- a cake pop stick- dip the truffle into the almond bark until fully covered.
Set them back onto parchment paper to harden.
After they've hardened, you can drizzle the top with additional melted chocolate. This is optional.
Serve and ENJOY!
Notes:
In my opinion, these are tastier with white chocolate coating!
The cream cheese needs to be SUPER soft or else it will be even harder to mix well with the Oreo crumbs.
Make this a fun activity- especially with kids! It is seriously a decadent little treat that's easy and fun to make!
